Happy New Year Eagles. Hope For 2012. (Jeremiah 29:11-14 NIV) “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you,” declares the Lord, “and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile.”
Each day new mercies I see. My prayer for 2012 is for the LORD to continue to show me and my family favor; to enlarge my territory with opportunities, new clients and revenue streams; to let my actions mirror my words; victory for President Obama’s reelection; drastic improvement in our economy; health and peace in the world; and safety and love for all children everywhere.
Blessed. As I open my eyes, utter words with my mouth, breath thru my lungs, move my limbs, raise my head, touch my surgical wound, I know that GOD has blessed me and shown me favor. In fact anyone that is reading this post should know that you too are blessed Eagles. Live this day and each day purposeful, for you will not get it back.
I woke up thinking about all the information that we are being bombarded with: senseless murders; theft; joblessness; health crisis; lack of health insurance; homelessness; local and worldwide hunger; economic bleakness; out of control cost of education; the GOP mess; the political stage; the various occupations…and I find myself asking myself when will things change? I find myself asking myself when this storm will pass. I mean the storms always passes; right? Right!
This storm is only going to pass after we all get more active in the political and economic processes. We all have been given or have developed skills and talents that can be used to address and solve all the ills of the world. But some of us have chosen to sit on the sideline and wait; I am not sure on who or what, but they are waiting.
It is as if the alarm clock did not go off and they are still asleep. I believe that is why the words of John Legend’s song “Wake Up Everybody” speak so strongly to me. So much has changed but there is so much which remains the same; and possibly gotten worse; when you compare the time which has passed since the original version of this song was made famous by Harold Melvin and the Bluenotes.
Wake Up Everybody. The good news is that I believe that we can make a difference Eagles! We can cause change. I hope that at a minimum everyone that reads this post will become more active in the political process. First make sure you are registered to vote. Then make sure your qualifying family members and friends are registered to vote. Next, volunteer to help local and national candidates. Donate money to support the candidates of your choice. And to really leverage these activities; please start reading and paying attention to the debates and analytical shows that are out there; in other words know learn what the issues are and what is at stake for yourselves instead of what someone else has told you. Wake Up Everybody!
Start reading more the local, state, national and worldwide economies. Each economic action has an effect on the all the economies. Not knowing much about it always places the uninformed in a reactionary state; usually a state of crisis. The informed can plan better, anticipate what economic or political storm is coming and how to better prepare. Wake Up Everybody!

Every day is a Good Day; “A GOD Day”. Today has had many challenges for me, but it has been a good day; a GOD Day. I lost my temper today, but it has been a good day; a GOD Day. I got worried about health challenges today, but it has been a good day; a GOD Day. I am listening to music and working in my virtual office now, enjoying a spirit of peace and calm, for it has been a good day; a GOD Day!
One of the Eagles on Facebook shared a piece of her testimony today and this bible verse “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5(KJV). In her own words it was suggested that by focusing on the fact that JESUS, GOD’s only son paid the ultimate sacrifice for all our sins, we can know that trouble, sickness and pain is only temporary; she says “….during my health issues I prayed on Isaiah 53:5 every chance I got every time I was in pain and just quoting it and the sickness and pain was just gone after a while! Praise the Lord!” Thank you Eagle Audrey.

I have no fear this day. I hear the spirit of the GREAT COMFORTER, the GREAT I AM affirming to have “No fear, come what may no fear!”
My Life, my life, my life in the sunshine of GOD’s Grace. I am appreciating HIS daily gift of life. I am praying that HE has something more in mind for me to do. I am hoping; no expecting victory over my daily battles. Are you? I hope that you are!

It's not enough to possess the land. You must know what you are going to do with the land! It's not enough to be at a place in your life. You must occupy that place.
It is not enough to give God your heart. You must allow him to occupy it!
